Keragaman Morfologi dan Genetik Beberapa Aksesi Tanaman Sagu (Metroxylon Sagu Rottb.) Berdasarkan Penanda Molekuler Gen Mat-K

Sago palm (Metroxylon sago Rottb.) is one of the carbohydrate-producing crops that has great potential in supporting food security programs. This study aims to determine morphological and genetic diversity based on mat-K gene marker 15 accessions pal have been collected by Research Consortium. research was conducted preparing plant samples, extracting DNA, amplifying DNA with a PCR tools, visualizing results amplification, sequencing, editing blasting. The showed UNIPA Consortium were morphologically different Russet stages. Based maturase K (mat-K) divided into two haplotypes, namely haplotype 1 which experienced deletion at base number 5 (amino acid phenylalanine) 2 did not experience so it had phenylalanine amino acid. Phylogenetic analysis groups, group 2. observed closely related Metroxylon warburgii distance 0.001.
